For Service Providers wanting to offer access to services via another Carrier's network, through either automated Carrier pre-selection, or via indirect access (using a short dialling prefix), DIGITALK Indirect Access can accept 1xxx or Carrier pre-select information from other Carrier networks and then carry out the appropriate validation, routing and billing using the customer’s Calling Line Identity (CLI).

The DIGITALK Multiservice Platform (MSP) provides full support for operators needing to deliver international connectivity to their customers. Multiple telephone numbers, based on either numbers or CLIs, can be assigned to single accounts and for business customers, charges can be assigned on a cost-centre basis by entering extra identity digits before the dialled number.


DIGITALK Indirect Telephony


An available real-time rating module which is fully integrated into the DIGITALK MSP allows Service Providers to preset limits for accounts on a daily or monthly basis, as well as set up prepaid accounts to safeguard against financial exposure, particularly for residential services.

The validation function, the white-list, is complemented by a black-list allowing barring features that can be based on general or individual CLI or a combination of CLI and destination numbers.

For business applications it is also possible to support cost centre billing allowing additional identity digits to be inserted before the dialled number. These digits can be output within the call records for itemisation purposes.
